The Philadelphia Parking Authority is generally not too popular, but it did have one great feature–its MeterUp smart phone app. With this meter payment system, it meant no more coins or kiosks with long waits and little pieces of paper. No more tickets when you are a few minutes late. Just the convenience of sitting in your warm car, listening to the radio, paying for your parking on the app, and then getting app reminders and notices when your time is running low… with the option to extend. Really the perfect app.
So what did PPA do? They got rid of it. Back to meters and kiosks. In fairness, they had issues with the MeterUp vendor, who bowed out.
Well great news. MeterUp IS BACK!!! New vendor. Awesome program. I love talking about Philly parking regulations and tips, traffic, transportation routes, and other wonky Philly stuff in addition to real estate, of course. So feel free to reach out. And check out the PPA MeterUP news release and FAQ here.
Finally, who do you know that is considering buying or selling real estate? I would be honored if you recommended me to be their trusted adviser. I pledge to provide them with the absolute highest level of service.
